MINUTES January 18, 2001 2 BOARD OF HEALTH <br /> Discussion took place between Board members'and Mr. Chen, through his interpreter, <br /> � <br /> as to his responsibility and awareness of the f code and what the Board could coo to <br /> enforce.the food code at the Great wall Chinese Restaurant. <br /> Mr. Doherty stated that if the Board of Health finds any further violations within six <br /> months the restaurant would be shut down. Mr. Chen indicated that he understood <br /> what Mr. Doherty was saying. <br /> ti <br /> Mr. Doherty motioned to require three staff members of the Creat Miall Chm'- se <br /> Restaurant to attend the NAACP training in lieu of a $300.00 fine by October of 2001. <br /> Mr. Santos seconded the motion. Motion passed. <br /> APPOINTMENT: Mr. Michael trot ke re: 128 w t rw <br /> Mr. Grotz e was in attendance for this scheduled appointment <br /> Mr. Grotzke indicated that he was before the Board to revisit a recently denied project <br /> r <br /> to add a study to the home at 128 waterway. Mr. trot ke presented plans shoving <br /> the proposed study with a ' opening, no closets and no privacy. He would like the <br /> Board to reconsider their decision that this room would be used as a bedroom in the <br /> future. <br /> Ms. warden stated that Building Inspector Russ Wheeler has inspected many of these <br /> homes in-tie past and she and Mir. wheeler both feel that a ' opening is not sufficient <br /> and that from now on she will be requiring a ' eased opening to ensure that the <br /> rooms cannot be utilized as bedrooms. <br /> Mr. Doherty motioned to grant the variance of 1' to the front property line and to <br /> approve'e the study as designed with a ' opening. Mr. Santos seconded the motion. <br /> Motion passed. <br /> APPOINTMENT: Mike Petrin BSC Grow re: 265 Monomoscoy Road <br /> Mr. Petrin of BSC Group and Attorney Kevin Kirrane were in attendance for this <br /> scheduled appointment. <br /> Mr. Kirrane stated, "If the members of the Board recall, we were here a number of <br /> months ago to discuss the prospective construction of a single family residential <br /> structure on a combination of lots-on Monomoscoy Road which predate the adoption <br /> of zoning and most ober regulations in the ton, At that time vire indicated to the <br /> Board what we proposed to do and that vire were proposing was to develop it as a two- <br /> bedroom house arra that it would require a mounded system and at that time the <br /> Board gave us the nod to proceed further for purposes of doing the appropriate <br /> dewatered perc test because there was some question based upon whether or not a <br /> j property owner down in that locale had done one or not and if it would ever be able to <br /> pass that type of a perc test. If you recall, we wereback before the' Board to discuss <br /> that perc test and hover we were going to conduct that perc test several months ago. <br /> We did conduct the pere test and the lot did perc as I understand it. what has been <br /> submitted to the Board this evening is the proposed design of the septic system upon <br /> the site." <br />
