"when they are plowed there is a narrow strip that's plowed and we have
never seen a grain of sand." `"when one of the other trailer's had a new cesspool put in
the dirt that they took out of it was brought and put in a pile between a residents trailer
and the one before it." "It was during the summer and the resident couldn't even keep her
windows open because the smell was so bad.91 "Apparently, the president of the
Association had complained about that and the park managers were noted." `what the
resident said she watched them do was they took a backhoe and pushed the cesspool dirt
off'into the woods and just put some fresh dirt on top where the pile of cesspool dirt hal
been.'' "There was an oil tank left on a lot that a trailer had been removed from." "The
tank was pretty much full and the kids were playing and the oil was emptied from the
tank." "I know they removed some ofthe cls but it was on a hill and it ran down the hill
to the next lot.'" "Some ofthe dirt was removed but not all of it and the one trailer at the
bottom of that hill can still smell that oil when it rains because the oil is in the dirt under
his trailer." "At this point all we want to do it have the health department required repairs
and make some of the changes.'
Mr. Cram stated, "If a situation exists as it is relayed to us then our only option
basically, is to shut the park down."
MT. Doherty stated, "A lot of the substandard occurrences kind of border n beim
nuisance and don't quite qualify for things that justify mediate action.' `"we're aware
of some of the problems that have been going on in the part for quite a long time." "We
have kind of been backed into a corner and not really knowing what to do,' "we could
not renew his permit but then we run the risk of having everybody evicted and we didn't
want to do that." `There has been some action taken by other Board's of Health in
different parts of the State that have set a precedence where we may be able to suspend it,
effectively freezi
