Going back --�- <br /> I don' t name what name he' s operating udder -- L & L Associates, <br /> Century 21, Lapio - Real Estate, there' s a half a dozen 'corporations. <br /> On July l6th, I was -in complaining that Mr. Lapio was running a <br /> Century 21, Lapio teal Estate, out of a residential area. His <br /> Century 21 sign was taken down. Thence were statements made here' at <br /> that meeting - n' July 16th,, and. I believe- you yourself- stated "I feel <br /> that selling- other real estate is the problem, and I would life to <br /> refer to' Counsel. "T ok, July 16th when I brought this up and every'- <br /> since then., -Ads. are still running steadily. Last weekend, Friday, <br /> Saturday and ,Sunday, Century l., Lapio Real Estate, there' s a general <br /> ad for Mystic Lake, that' s over in Barnstable. Prior tO that, there <br /> have been numerous: other ads., The Building Inspector sent a letter, <br /> The letter states 'heal estate sales can be carried on in the office <br /> of the model home, if the sales are confined to Sherwood Forest sub- <br /> division only. " He .is still selling general real estate; there are <br /> still signs in this Town and other towns. Were he is running h i s <br /> office, there was a Century 21 sign with Notary Public underneath <br /> and on the other side of the building was a sign residential. That <br /> has since been 'taken down, like may be in the last weekend and now <br /> there is a sign Louis Lapio real Estate, residential. <br /> .Chairman- responded let nye see if I can make this easy. Mr. Reardon <br /> is going- to be here in an hour and the Building Inspector can get <br /> in touch with him this afternoon. It sounds like to me that we <br /> have the same problem that we did with Germaine Thierry, who had <br /> to go out . and rent an office. <br /> Mr. Collins stated that it wasn' t quite like that, not that it rakes <br /> any difference to nye . Mrs. Thierry was living in the house. LaiDio <br /> isn' t living in this house; it' s strictly an office . <br /> Nancy Blaken stated that technically, L & L Associates owns , that <br /> sub-division. If he had L & L Associates, office, he could probably <br /> get away with it because that would be the 'owner of the sub-division. <br /> Lapio Real Estate is a general real estate business in a model home <br /> in a sub-division. That' s illegal. <br /> Chairman stated let' s get Toe' s 'opinion along with the Building <br /> Inspector as to where we stand and what should- be done. <br /> Mr. Blakeman stated that he would life to make one more comment. I <br /> myself own a sub-division, a license real' estate and I am a rralator. <br /> If this is not resolved, say by the weekend, I propose in my own <br /> house or in any new house in my own sub--division to open up a general <br /> real estate practice . I will do that as of this weekend, if this one <br /> is not resolved by then. <br /> Chairman stated that' s a decision you' ll have to make ., <br /> Mr, Blakeman stated that this has been over a month and apparently, <br /> you can do as you please at no consequent.
