Proof of Residence is required such as Town of Mashpee tax bill, <br /> car registration or drivers license . A Post Office Box will not <br /> . be accepted as an address. Year round renters must provide a <br /> bona fide copy of their lease. Fee for annual sticker will be <br /> $5. 00. <br /> Summer residents must provide a copy of bona fide lease for the <br /> season. Fee will be $50. 00 for the first car, $10. 00 for the <br /> second car and $25 .00 for each additional car. <br /> Vistors permits will be issued at $10 . 00 for the first week, <br /> $16 .00 for the second week, $21.00 for three weeks and $25 . 00 for <br /> four weeks. <br /> Stickers will be numbered and the first 50 will be issued to the <br /> Board of Health for commercial vehicles. These can not be used <br /> for the beach. <br /> Current dump stickers will be valid until January 15 , 1981. <br /> Mr. Harry Edmed asked if the charge would be the same for senior <br /> c=itizens. - Why couldn' t their's be--free. <br /> Selectman Garland informed Harry that he had a valid point and - <br /> asked him what age he would determine a senior citizen. <br /> Harry responded age 65. <br /> • Selectman Garland informed Harry that this would be taken under <br /> consideration. <br /> Person to be in charge of issuing_ stickers will be determined at <br /> a later date . <br /> Motion made by Selectman Garland, seconded by Selectman Thomas , <br /> to accept the format of the Notice and the Design. Declared a <br /> vote by Chairman. <br /> 6. Mr. Jerry L. DePalma met with the Board. Mr. DePalma read the <br /> following to the Board: <br /> "Dear Honorable Board of Selectmen: Request reimbursement in the <br /> amount of $1,200. 00 for attorney fees accrued/paid as a result of <br /> a complaint brought against me as an employee of the Town of Mashpee . <br /> Verification of the above amount upon request. Thank you. " <br /> Chairman informed Mr. DePalma that his request would be forwarded <br /> to Town Counsel for an opinion. <br /> Mr. DePalma stated that in 1976 he gave. the Board a similar letter <br /> I when he was cleared of all charges , and Town Counsel stated that there <br /> . is nothing in the By-laws stating that an employee of the town may <br /> be reimbursed for set fees . However, at the most recent Special Towri <br /> Meeting it was also stated, again there is nothing in there for <br /> reimbursement, but we have a legal right to reimburse an individual . <br /> -3- <br />
