Thomas recognized Nor. Delory. He said he is an Assessor for the Ton -and hi-s name is Bob Delory. He said he revi wed this road layout and the present road supe-imposed on. the 63 plan, and if you look at the current maps on the sheets that we have in our office you 'will see the cutouts that shows the places that go on other people 's property. Two of the pieces New . eabury has had land courted$ ' He said he doesn'-t know who is saying .the layouts .are not correct. The 'resent road is not where it belongs it has nothing to do with th6 what . is going to happen .it has to be checked in land court. He said he wants to talk about, the traffic on that road. He .agrees that it is a back road. Sel. Garland, "Am I not right that when. you go down that road the poles on some of the properties are 100 feet back and that is ,where they should be if the true road was laid out. " Mr. Delory agreed. He feels we are going to -have clot of traffic and we are going. to .have the same beach as we had last year.. He agrees that we need a new road. el. Garland said that if our Recreation Director is going to properly operate the access to the Toon beach, this Town is going to have to hire a police officer because he- cannot see Ms .' Dubin or any of the employees of the. Park and - ecreatio. Department.ent. down- there as attendants on that 'gate facing the complex problems and the irrate people who are going to demand access, . and he thinks - the only way to solve. this is to have and to hire a full time police officer, whether a regular or a special during the hours that the beach is operational, He sees a.no alternatives to that. He said he has a strong feeling that we are going to have more than 120 cars because of the publicity that we now have a new unique and unusual State beach for them to go- to. He also said that he doesn' t blame those people for trying, to get 'access to it. He feels that at times especially 'over long- hot wee] ends there is going to be mayham- down there, He wonders where these people are going to hm. Thomas said that it is going to be a transitional. type of thing and an educational type of thing and . people are going tolearn that there is going to be some types of recreational 'things that cannot or can be dome. It is going to be- a learning process for the public and a transitional time for. the Town and we- are only going to accomplish it by pulling together and not tearing one and other pulling . out our hair.. Chm, Thomas told Mr. Delory that he was invited to the meeting on Tuesday night. Se l. -Garland agreed with Ghon. Thomas that it should be a joint meeting of the minds as to what is doing to happen down the-re. He said that he maintains and many people heard- 'the same answers 'and- questions which were posed to the DEM and- many of the answers were that this is a ques- tion that will have to be addressed. He feels that they did not do the planning that they should of clone in the time that they had to do it.
