Garland stated that ,he only <br /> knows of one private road and that is' Donna' s Lane. Sel . Hanson <br /> suggested that all this m teridl be Dept as he feels it will come <br /> back up algin. <br /> Board returned to appointments. <br /> 6 :45, p.m, - Chin. Garland -said that, as the complaints ff on the J dog hearing <br /> he would step .down and- sit in the audience. Acting Chairman <br /> Hanson opened the Continuation of- the dog heari-ng and asked <br /> Mr. Garland to eXpl in the compla-int. 'Mr. Garland asked that <br /> th'e Board instruct Mr. O' Connor to keep his dog on a leased <br /> at all . tunes. Adting chin. Hanson said' that the Board had <br /> received a response. -to the complaint. He, read the letter <br /> from Mrs. O' Connor* ' Acting chm, Hanson recommends that this <br /> folder be put in abeyance- and if: -another. problem arises- the <br /> complaint .cou"ld be taken care. of at- that time. Sel. Terry <br /> asked Mr. , Garland' 'hen he had last seen' the dock. Mr. garland <br /> replied on the 14-th'--of November, Sel-. Terry concurred with <br /> Acting Chm, Hanson.- Acting Chm. Hanson asked that a letter <br /> be sent to the -O-' Connors regarding this hearing. Board <br /> secretary stated- that Mr. O' Connor had called the Selectmen' s <br /> office - the day before the hearing on November 6 , 1983 to inform <br /> her that they would b ..ire Florida and that the dog is no longer <br /> on the premises as they gave the dog to their daughter. <br /> p.m. - Police Chief. Frye came to discuss with the Board .the Attiquin <br /> � <br /> Ta Task - Force -.and -the -pal-icing. of the park.. Sel. Hansom <br /> started that he warted- to make. it clear in his mind what the. <br /> procedure would be. -He also. said .that he wants to resolve <br /> the issue of hiring police officer.. Chief Frye recommends <br /> the Board - appoints two special police officers for ten weeks. . <br /> He said that . his specials would not be available during the <br /> summer.. He would like two new ones 3u t for the beach. S01 . <br /> Hanson said he still dict not understand. He said that, i f we <br /> want coverage it is the - Chief' s responsibility to produce this. <br /> After much more discussion the Board recommended that the <br /> Chief of police meet with the Executive Secre'tar'y to look 'at <br /> at <br /> all the possibilities ' and to do it quickly as the Board would <br /> lite to put this on the special town meeting warrant - <br /> Board approved putting this in :cn t Aarticle -forthe spec-i'al <br /> town meeting -wa rr n.t. <br /> Board asked Mr. Kenneth Anderson to serve on, the Park and <br /> Recreation- Advisory Committee. Mt. Anderson asked to have <br /> some time to think about this . ' Motion by Sel . Terry to <br /> disband and thank the Attiquin Pa-rk Task Force with an appro- <br /> priate letter. Seconded by Sel.. Hanson. So moved. <br /> NEW BUSINESS : <br /> 1, On the request from the Personnel - Board regarding a towrt hall newsletter. <br />
