Mr . Allick replied "no" . <br /> The Executive Secretary asked if the DPU requires a limousine <br /> service to have a permit from a local licensing service? <br /> Mr . Allick said that there is a State level implemented b <br /> local people . As for the business operation , the phone calls <br /> ill be dome through an answering service and the mail will <br /> be received through a post office box in Mashpee. Joe Murphy <br /> riled if he had a post office box . Mr. Allick said that he <br /> had not dome anything yet as he does not have a permit . <br /> Selectman Terry asked if he would be picking u eop l e in <br /> l a h ee . Mr. Allick replied yes, if someone wants the car" . <br /> Selectman Hansen made reference to the Building Inspector <br /> letter of October 3 Selectman Terry commented that if the <br /> town gave him a limousine p rmit to operate out of 675 i <br /> len a l a Drive then it would be like a taxi service . <br /> Selectman Term made reference to a Mr . Coll ins receiving <br /> Yf111 <br /> permission for a similar service. The Executive Secretary <br /> e <br /> I! said tha► applied and received a special permit from the <br /> Board of Appeals and that he believed it was in a residential <br /> district , too. <br /> The Executive Secretary asked if it were possible for the <br /> Board to issue a livery permit to the petitioner a{t his post <br /> office box with the condition that he is not to operate his <br /> service in the Town of l a hpee . <br /> Selectman Terry quest i onned issuing a permit to a post office <br /> box. He commented that a person does not 1 i e at a post <br /> office box, <br /> Town Counsel reviewed the application , He also reviewed the <br /> zoningby-law and commented that the Building Inspector i <br /> correct , He said that the application said haat the business <br /> is in a residential zone and that was part of the problem. <br /> He -advised Mr . Allick to find an address to use for his busi- <br /> ness h i c was not in a residential zone. He suggested that <br /> he contact the Building Inspector to find out where such <br /> activity can be permitted. Mr . Allick said that he thought <br /> he could find an address suitable . Selectman Terry asked <br /> that he present a letter to the Board from the person who <br /> owns the property. Mrs Allick was scheduled for Oct . 31 at <br /> 3:30 P.M. <br />
