Selectman Lawrence <br /> seconded. All were in favor. <br /> Selectman Thomas submitted an update on the Popponssett <br /> Dredging pro3ect. . Selectman Thomas advised the Board that <br /> the bill has been received from Arrow Engineering and i <br /> being reviewed by Town Counsel. <br /> Selectman Lawrence requested a copy of the bill and asked <br /> for a recommendation from town counsel . <br /> Selectman Hansom requested that we contact torn counsel relative <br /> to the school architect contract and ask that all documentation <br /> be in the Selectmen' s office on Thursday. <br /> New Business <br /> 1 Selectman Thomas moved to appoint all individuals on the <br /> Civil Defense Roster a copy of which is attached)- for 1986-87 <br /> with the exception of Lawrence Frazier. Selectman Lawrence <br /> seconded. All were in favor. <br /> ) Selectman Thomas moved to appoint Leo Turo as Assistant <br /> Harbormaster. Selectman Hanson seconded. All were in favor. <br /> The Town Clerk submitted an article for house numbering which <br /> she would like to have on the warrant of the August special <br /> town meeting. Selectmen agreed to include it on the September <br /> special town meeting warrant. Also, Selectmen reviewed two <br /> articles from the Treasurer/Collector for the September special <br /> town meeting which was approved for the September meeting. <br /> 'Selectman Thomas moved to accept the recommendation of the DPW <br /> Director and accept the recommended ed low bidders for various highway <br /> materials . Selectman Lawrence seconded. All were in favor. <br /> Selectmen reviewed the recommendation from the Design Review <br /> Committee relative to appointment gent of Doug Boyd to the Design <br /> Review Committee. <br /> -Selectmen felt there was the potential for conflict of interest <br /> and therefore decided against - appointme t of Mr. Boyd. <br /> 7 Selectmen were requested by the Executive Secretary for approval <br /> of out-of-state travel funds for Anne Shag and himself to travel <br /> by Amtrak to New York to make a presentation to the +foody' s <br /> bond rating service. <br />
