5 <br /> w <br /> L <br /> Board of Selectmen <br /> Wednesday, July 23, l <br /> Regular Meeting._ P. 2 <br /> Old Bustnes <br /> 1 The Board reviewed a. memo from the Personnel Board regard-.ng <br /> the assistant harbor masters ' pay in which they asked the Board <br /> to reconsider the payment schedules . Selectman Thomas moved to <br /> rescind the former action taken and to pay the harbor rasters <br /> $100 per month for the months of May through August and per <br /> month for the months of September through April. . Selectman <br /> Lawrence seconded and it was a unanimous vote . <br /> New Business <br /> 8) The Board recieved recommendations -from Harbor Master Chester <br /> Koblinsky for two additional assistant harbor masters, - Selectman <br /> Thomas moved to appoint Kenneth Parolsi and Richard Halpern as <br /> assistant harbor masters . Selectman Lawrence seconded and it was <br /> a vote., They discussed mooring fees and it was -agreed Mr. Kob I ins kir <br /> could :put sormething together for the annual town meeting, <br /> Old Bus-iness <br /> Mr. Murplqy said he made a presentation to Moody# s Bond Service . <br /> e said 'i presentation couldn't have been rade without the efforts <br /> of the 'T - u Board and staff of Assessors , Town Accountant , <br /> Town Planner., Town Clerk and Building Inspector in gathering data <br /> for the presentation . Selectman a. Lawrence said he would like letters <br /> seat to then thanking them. The other Selectmen agreed. <br /> A220intments <br /> 30 - Mrs. Nuey, who requested permission to lige in a trailer <br /> in her grandmother 's yard for a period of at least six months , did <br /> not show. Building Inspector Doug Boyd, who was present at the <br /> meeting, said it ' s not allowed unless you' re rebuilding your house <br /> after it ' s burned. The Board asked that a letter be sent to Mrs . <br /> Nuey stating that based on the Building Inspector' s recommendations <br /> and the Town By-Laws , t hey are unable to accomodate her, <br /> New bus ies s <br /> 1. The Board reviewed an article for the September 22 special town <br /> meeting submitted. by the Building Inspector which requested $1,087 50 <br /> for t.h e Plumb fang inspector Salary Account and $1,00'71. to the Gas <br /> Inspector Salary Account . lir. Boyd said the money was to pay for <br /> inspections made by lir. Jacobson and just now billed for. Mrs . <br /> . <br /> Jacobson corrected the first amount to read $4 ,087 . 50 . The Board <br /> agreed to place the article on the September special town meeting <br /> warrant . <br /> 2 The Board received a memo from the Fire Chief advising them o--,, <br /> the status of the maintenance repair account and he submitted an <br /> article for the September 22 special town meeting warrant requesting <br /> $3,000 for this account . Also- he submitted ars article for the <br /> August 25 special town meeting to donate the Model A Fire Engine <br /> o the Brewster Fire Museum. The Board decided to set up an admini-..; <br />
