OLD BUSINESS: o i n tm n t of Her a r de r The Executive Secretary pointed out that there has been n Herring Warden since July I and that Ernie Virgil lo has asked fog.. onsi d r t i on b !the Board for appointment . The Executive indicated Commission -Y Secratar + that both thllfsh and th Tribal Council has recommended Ernie Virgilio for the appointment. He said that he is aware that the Conservation Commission has discussed i t . -. Se l . Thomas commented that he is doing his work and getting a lot f support . However, she would l i e the 8d. to consider that the town now has a Conservation Officer and perhaps the duties of the Herring Marden may work through that position . She said that she makes the suggestion gust to review and evaluate as she feel that the herring runs are closer to the Conservation scope of duties than the Public Works Director's and the Tree Warden's* e 1 .
