The recommendation is 'that Mrs. Mason beL mored from <br /> Grade 1 , - step 2 to Grade 12, Step -. He e pla'ined that they are dealingr with .a situation <br /> which one person has carried a two secretarial" office for seven months, <br /> 1 <br /> � ` <br /> i . <br /> Mr. Murphy also told the Board that they !P will have before them within ,one month a change 1'n.- <br /> the job request as it is their desire that fthe position be- upgradd by--July 1 . He said <br /> 'th.a.t the Board will b asked' to examine the proposed charge in title. <br /> - K ' <br /> ■ <br /> i' <br /> M - a r <br /> Bob Sullivan asked why he wanted to give raise now- if the' intention was to upgrade and r <br /> chance the job description's kh <br /> % <br /> Mr. 'Murphy explained that they wanted to change the jpb,r title which .has not been totally <br /> refined. Joe Murphy said.that if he could get this now, it would deliver <br /> more than a promise in July. He said that the intent i for the level of r•esponsibi.lity to <br /> 'u <br /> crease. He explained that at Grade' 15 the salary level would be the. sam"e as it i's currently <br /> L. R <br /> th room for increments. <br /> Caroline Gilligan asked if this was a senior secretary? Joe Murphy' replied "yes,¢'that they <br /> currently have two administrative secretaries 'aid Joyce Mason- was the Senior secretary" <br /> H reiterated -by saying that the sta ting salary would remain unchanged. , .t <br /> T - f <br /> Y <br /> Berg Lofchie moved that Joyce Ma'son's' salary level be increased from Grade 12, Stepp 2 to <br /> Grade 12, Step 4 as soon as the -Board of Selectmen approve it. He replied that he had the facilities and there would <br /> be n problem scheduling,appointments'. Chairman Sullivan'asked Dr-.
