Personnel. Board <br /> Meeting of January 3 , 1984 Page 2 <br /> At this point , the' Chief passed in the evalu tions of two call fire- <br /> fighters , <br /> it - <br /> fight rs , John , ialcne and Gordon- Peters . He commented that it was <br /> difficult to do a good evaluation do call firefighters . The Chief <br /> suggested §athering everybody together responsible for filling out <br /> tho evaluation form in order to explain it to them. <br /> Carrie commented that it was a standard form which could be adaptable <br /> to any kind of thing and some specific kinds of things . She - suggested <br /> that the Chief use a separate sheet for specific performances . <br /> Evaluation Forms <br /> Upon review of the val ation forms received by the Board to date , the <br /> secretary was asked to. schedule a meeting with the Council on Aging to <br /> discuss the evaluation of the Senior Citizen Director , Larry Frazier . <br /> With reference to the evaluation forms not in �o date , Board extended <br /> the- deadline date until. February 10 asking. that a letter be sent to those <br /> delinquent advising them that it is necessary for the Pelt-sonnet. Board to <br /> have the employe evaluation prior= to raking recommendations to the <br /> Finance Committee for step increases . <br /> separate letter will go to the Finance Committee explaining why the <br /> Board is unable to [Hake their recommendations by February l as required <br /> under the P. A.P. <br /> For budget purposes , all employees will be advised to ads: a one-step in- <br /> crease to t ,eir budget as well as a % cost of living increase for 1985 . <br /> It is to be clearly understood that recommendations for step incr.-eases <br /> will come at a later date and that step i,r-creases are not automatic . <br /> At this point in the meeting , Dr . Saunders had to leave o attend another <br /> meeting. she advised the Board that she would be unabl ? to attend th <br /> meeting of February 6 . she asked if she could review the evaluations <br /> during the week. All were in agreement . <br /> Minutes of Personnel Board <br /> Dave motioned to accept the minutes of January 9 and January 23 . Manny <br /> seconded the motion. All were in favor . <br /> Educational. Courses <br /> The Board reviewed a request from Pamela Davis to take a course entitled <br /> . <br /> Pea ' Estate Appraisal I being offered by Stonehill College t,eginning <br /> February 9 and ending May 3 at a cost of $'260 .00 . The Board requested <br /> that the request for the course approval be returned to be authorized <br /> by...{-the Board of Assessor ' s Chairman. <br /> The Board also reviewed a -1., t. er dated January 23 advising them' that <br /> Robert Long has enrolled in a course entitled Fire Department Management <br /> and Planning at the Cape Cod Community College and that he plans to sub- <br /> mit for reimbursem iA upon successful completion .
