PERSONNEL BOARD MEETING <br /> MINUTES OF OCTOBER 14, 1992 PAGE 2 <br /> Data Collector Position <br /> Selectman Caffyn asked if the Board of Assessors put in a request to <br /> advertise the position of Data Collector. The Personnel Assistant <br /> indicated that no requesthas been received . <br /> Alternate Building Inspector <br /> Rita Sousa indicated that the monies for an Alternate Building Inspec- <br /> tor were approved at Town Meeting . She asked that Bill Hauck be con- <br /> tacted and advised to process the proper paperwork to Bob Whritenour <br /> requesting that the position be advertised . <br /> Letter of Resignation - Mae Lofchie <br /> A letter dated September 21 was received from Mae Lofchie, Administra- <br /> tive Clerk to Leisure Services . Mae indicates that sheTans to <br /> p resign <br /> from her position as of October 22 because of an extended vacation in <br /> Florida. <br /> Reauest for Department Transfer - Betty Jones <br /> A copy of a letter to the Board of Selectmen from Dean Driscoll , Leisure <br /> Services Director, requesting the transfer of Elizabeth Jones was re- <br /> viewed . Betty is currently working as a Leisure Services Administra- <br /> tive Clerk ( 15 hrs . wkly./40 wks . per yr. ) at the Community School . <br /> Dean is recommending that she be assigned to the Leisure Services <br /> Department to work in the fifty-two week Adm. Clerk position which will <br /> be vacant upon Mae Lofchie ' s resignation. Rita indicated that the Board <br /> of Selectmen approved this request at their Monday meeting. <br /> Resignation of Dean Driscoll <br /> The Board received a letter of resignation from Dean Driscoll , Director <br /> of Leisure Services . Due to professional career endeavors, he plans to <br /> resign as of October 16 . <br /> Personnel Board Liaisons <br /> The Personnel Assistant passed out a copy of a' memo that she sent out to <br /> all department heads updating them with the list of Personnel Board <br /> liaisons and advising them of the changes . <br /> Memo from Shellfish Constable - re : Comp Time <br /> A copy of a letter dated October 8 from Richard York, Shellfish <br /> Constable was reviewed . He states that he has worked 130 hours overtime <br /> for the months of June, July and August . <br /> Memo from Shellfish Constable - re: Deputy Shellfish Constables <br /> A copy of a memo dated September 28 to the Board of Selectmen from <br /> Richard York, Shellfish Constable, was reviewed relative his recommenda- <br /> tions of Deputy Shellfish Constables . Those individuals up for <br /> reappointment are: Daniel Bohnenberger and Jerry Monaghan. New <br /> appointees being recommended are : Roger Macomber and Henry Madden. <br />
