e Board of Selectmen Wage Three Regular Meeting Wednesday, June 3 , 1987 Mrs . Thomas reported that the three bids received were opened on Monday, June 1: 1957 at moon. -They will be reviewed by the consultants and Town Counsel. Mrs . Thomas stated that Greg Smith has informed her that Save P pponesset Bay, Inc . has been formed as a. means of gathering funds ;to help with this dredging project. Their attorney has worked with Town Counsel on this organization. 6. Trus-tees of Reservations * Thomas S v Foster, Regional Supervisor of the Trustees of Reservations , reported in a letter dated May 22 , 1987 that on April 28 , T987 the Southeast Regional Committee ittee voted to grant permission to install monitoring wells on the leas pe e River Reservation. Their major concern is that the property will not be adversely affected. A copy of the terms and conditions o-, this agreement will be submitted -to Michael Hanlon of Wes-ton & Sampson for review. Mr. Hanson moved that the Board authorize the C .ai-rwoman to execute this agreement after such re, view, Nor. Got- lieb seconded the motion., The Grote was unanimous . . Negotiations on S u b s i ona.l Sewage., Treatment■_Systems . In a memorandum dated May 28p 1987 , Town Planner Thomas Fuda.la, re commended that the Board of Selectmen establish a. committee or working group to conduct negotiations between the Town and the Various developers included in the proposed sub-regional sewage. treatment plants . He noted that the first two sub-regional pro- pOsals are noir at a point w ere Weston & Sampson a.s prepared proposed agreements between the Town and the other involved parties . In order to ensure consistency between the agreements and negotiations and to make sure that appropriate Town officials are involved, these agreements should be reviewed by and further negotiations should be conducted by the proposed group. Fudala, stated in his memorandum dated May 269 1987 that he does not feel : a, police officer is required to control -traffic movements at the Flea Market.. He did suggest that there be a, more strict control of parking on the site and a, more clearly defined -parking arrange- ment. Mr. Murphy will forward a, copy of Mr.. Fudala.'s recommendations to the Board of Appeals for further consideration o the permit. . Regulation of Dogs .
