In his memorandum dated JUne .,} 1987, Mr. Murphy stated that at that same Town Meeting the building was designated as the Ia.s .poo Archives Building and the intent, prior to this article , was that the Historical Commission would assume operating control of the building, Mr.* Murphy recommended that the Board of Select- men elect- men consider transferring operational control of the building to the Historical Commission. He also 'recommended that as a. Town Archives building, it be considered a. Town Hall hex so that the Town Hall Expense Account . can be used to provide the funds to operate the facility to include such expenses as heat and lights Ir. Lawrence pointed out that under New Business on this eenig's age .da, the water Commissioners will be requesting the use of the basement for the purpose of holding meetings . This will not be possible as the {basement has only one exit and therefore , cannot e utilized for legal public meetings .
