Speaking personally, Sel . Carter <br /> said that he would rather go in and trey to negotiate on level <br /> ground and go for everything. <br /> Making reference to someone from Briarwood running for Dater <br /> Commissioner , Town Counsel said that he would assume that the <br /> Selectmen would be putting a water commissioner on the <br /> negotiating committee. Mr . Orlando said that the Water <br /> Commissioner happens to be the President of the Association <br /> (Mrs, Orlando) . Town Counsel asked if she would run for <br /> Water Commissioner in the newly created Water District? r. <br /> Orlando replied that he did not think she was. Town Counsel <br /> suggested that it might be appropriate to have someone else <br /> in the Briarood District run . <br /> Mr . Dart iroc said that he felt there definitely should be <br /> repre entat i on on that negotiating commit tee from Briarwood. <br /> Barbara Seckar said that it was time for them and the town <br /> government to put pressure on the base . <br /> e l t Got l e i b said that he was not 100Y. comfortable i th the <br /> idea. Thomas asked if the Br r ar ood Association would <br /> allow Town Counsel and Board members to sit down and do their <br /> brainstorming session and discuss representation from <br /> Briar ood. Barbara Seckar asked if there could be a few <br /> representatives from Briarwood at their brainstorming <br /> session, It was agreed that two people could be present, <br /> Mr . Willis asked what the delay was at this time? Sel . Thomas <br /> said that the ma or delay is the easement plan which has held <br /> them up at least six months. Assistant Town Counsel said <br /> that the problem is when the original developer divided it <br /> up, he sold out the lots by lot numbers, Those people owned <br /> a part of the road and before he sold out all of the lots, he <br /> went back and deeded all the roads to Briarwood Assoc.
