Selectman Gottlieb moved to execute the November 2 special town meeting warrant. Selectman Carter seconded the motion. Ali. were in favor . 6) Mr . Murphy asked that the execution of the Computer contract be deferred until next week so that copies of the contract can be rade available to Board members who would like to review it . Selectmen deferred action until next week. Selectman Carter advised the Board of a meeting with Brad Barr regarding renour i sh ent of the Beach. Mr . Virgilio spoke to the issue raised by Mr . Papagni regarding boundary markers being moved during the reconstruction of the boat ramp. i Mr . Virgilio advised that the area was surveyed and that the pipes were never moved . Mr . Virgilio addressed the issue of speed burps Mr . Virgilio does not feel speed burps should be put in as it could cause a liability to the town. Selectman Carter moved to place speed bumps . Selectman Gottlieb seconded the motion . Selectman Lawrence was also in favor . Selectman Thomas was opposed . APPOINTMENTS & HEARINGS 7 : 40 Patrolman Umina requested time with the Board to discuss the decision rendered on a Grievance filed by Patrolman valeriani . r . .Murphy pointed out the Board can or cannot meet with the Union. Mr . Murphy also pointed out the Officer involved was notifed at least 48 Yours in advance that this may be discussed tonight . Selectmen agreed to meet with Patrolman Umina . Selectman Carter moved to go into executive session to discuss an employee grievance . Selectman Gottlieb seconded the motion. All present were in favor . Selectman Lawrence had left the room during this vote . It was announced that the regular session would resume at 8 p.m.
