He also stated that he is requesting <br /> to close longer than seasonal license holders, <br /> Selectman Thomas asked if anyone present had any convent. <br /> Being none Selectman Danson moved to grant permission for Cape Cod Convention <br /> Center d/b/a Sun Wah to close from October 20, 1987 to April 15, 1988. Selectman <br /> Gottlieb seconded. the rrtion. Selectmen Carter and Thomas were also in favor. <br /> Selectman Lawrence was opposed. <br /> 7:30 - Selectmen were scheduled to nest with William Jones. This was deferred. <br /> Selectmen moved onto their appointment with Wendy Rubin which was scheduled <br /> for 7:45 p.m. <br /> Ms. Rubin requested approval to conduct a Halloween footrace in cooperation <br /> with the New Seabury Recreation Departrrment to benefit the Mashpee Good Neighbor <br /> Find. <br /> Selectmen were in favor. <br /> Ms. Rubin also submitted for approval a Fall and Winter Action Plan for the <br /> Darks and Recreation Department. <br /> Selectman Carter moved to accept the Falk and Winter Action Flan. Selectman <br /> Gottlieb seconded the motion. All were in favor. <br /> 7:40 - Mr. Ferguson and members of the School Building Committee were in seeking <br /> Blue Cross/Blue Shield benefits for the Clerk of the Works for the new <br /> school. project. <br /> Mr. Ferguson pointed out the candidate had coverage in the past in the other <br /> Towns he has worked. <br /> Mr. Ferguson also pointed out the man is very qualified and he would hate to <br /> loose him because the Torn did not allow coverage. <br /> Selectman Carter moved to allow the Clerk of the Works to participate in the <br /> Town's medical insurance program provided he pay 10 percent of the monthly <br /> premum in advance. Further, the Town reimburse the Clerk of the Works for <br /> his medical insurance costs. Selectmn Gottlieb seconded the notion. All <br /> were in favor. <br /> F <br />
