Bob Tolins of Rollins, Rollins & Fox spoke on behalf of New re bury Company Limited Partnership. Mr. Carlos DoEste submitted a number of letters of opposition from res 1 dents of the Mews Village, Mrs. Jacobson roved to dray the request of New sbur Company Limited artner h i p to withdrew the application for n extension of Common Victualler l 1 Alcoholic Be a aN es License at the Mews complex. Mr, Carter seconded the motion. Mr. Gottlieb and Mr. Henson were in favor. Mr. Lawrence abstained. Mrs, Jacobson moved to deny the extension of a Common Vietualler All Alcoholic Beverage License for the New Seabury Company Limited Partnership (d/b/a New seebur Country Club) for the Mews Conference Center on the grounds that the public necessity and convenience would not be served in granting this 1icense as it would be detrimental to the immediate neighborhood as well as the Town; further that there are adequate licensed facilities in the area to serge the pub I i c. therefore there is no demonstrated pub t i c need. Mr, Carter seconded the motion. M . Hanson and Mr * Gottlieb were in favor, Mr, Lawrence abstained.
