Review of Reclassification of Assistant Assessor: Ir. Harrington has reviewed the reclassification of Assistant Assessor with Personnel. The issue has not been resolved concerning the placement of the step. The Personnel Board has recommended Step 2 of Grade 11. Mr. Harr in t n feels it may be more appropriate to recommend Step 1 although he has not compared thew.-..;,numbers, The grade level s correct, Selectman Caffyn asks for father information and of a bonus since the Board is to sign the approval tonight. The Personnel Board has agreed to a differential. They feel it is necessary to include the interim period as well as the 30 day compensation. The Accountant has a different interpretation and has recommended not to pay the interims period. Selectman Caffyn is concerned as to why this was not brought to the Board' s attention "prior to approval since it is a specific amount -_o f" money.
