Article 38 : The motion was made by Selectman Lawrence to withdraw Article 38. The motion was seconded by Selectman a Hansom$ The vote of the Board is unanimous, The vote is -0. r� has �+I p y� �+s a� �1 Article : Mr. Vaccaro 1 as ecom ende to withdraw is article , It is a small amount of money for signage that should be absorbed in the existing DPW expense account. The approximate amount is $450, The motion was made by Selectman Lawrence to withdraw Article 40. The motion was seconded by Selectman Hansom. The vote of the Board is unanimous, The vote is -o. Article 39: This article obviously has to be dome within the next few years reports Mr. Vaccaro. There is no reason to place this on the warrant at this time since there is only $13: 000 available. If this does pass9 our budget is out by a. significant amount and there ill be problems in balancing the budget. The amount for a. propriation to the Fire Engine Rehabilitation Account is approximately 50-60# 000. Mr. Gallo noted the Fire Department doesn' t epe t this on the warrant. It is a message that it will be needed in the future. The rticn was made by Selectman Hanson to withdraw Article 39, The motion was seconded by Selectman Ca.ffyn. The vote of the Board is unanimous. Article 41 and Article 42: Both of these article are reclassifying and upgrading positions states Mr. Vaccaro, Clearly the positions are needed, but we don' t have the money and can' t afford to pay for them. Selectman Jacobson would like the Town Clerk to have an opportunity to defend this article on Town Meeting floor. She is in favor of letting the people decide. Why is it now questions Mr. Vaccaro? The impact is on the FY 93 budget, On the advice of the Finance Committee, th e motion ion was made by Selectman C a.ffyn to withdraw Article 41 and Article 42. The motion was seconded by Selectman Manson. The vote is favorable -1 with Selectman a Jacobson in opposition. Article 43: The explanation to date is not comprehensive enough states Mr. Vaccaro, We need a. more definitive explanation. Selectman Jacobson asks if we are creating another job`?
