BOARD OF SELECTMEN Page 6 <br /> MINUTES <br /> • MONDAY, DECEMBER 23 , 1991 <br /> Memorandum of Unerstandinq: <br /> Attorney Reardon notes it was the impression of Mr. Harrington <br /> the overtime of Sergeant Bevacqua was for investagory process . He makes <br /> note of the Memorandum of Understanding signed by the Inspector <br /> General on December 20 , 1991 and by Chief Frye on December 23 , 1991 . <br /> Renewal of Liquor License Holders 1992 : <br /> Joyce mason informed the Board that Ockry Trading Post is not <br /> looking to renew its liquor license to date. She notes the approval <br /> from Deputy Baker towards the renewals . <br /> She notes local property taxes have been paid on the establish- <br /> ments . ABCC will check on the payment of state taxes and have the <br /> final approval . <br /> ***The .motion was made by Selectman Vaccaro to approve the renewal <br /> of liquor license holders for 1992 to Andy ' s Market, Bernard T. <br /> Christian Best Buy Beverage, B. I .A. , Inc. d/b/a Deer Crossing Market, <br /> Cape Cod Convention Center d/b/a Richard ' s Pub, Cherrystones, Inc. , <br /> China Plaza of Mashpee , Inc. d/b/a China Gardens , Barnstable Pizza <br /> and Pasta Finally Dinos , Liquor Warehouse, Mashpee Restaurant d/b/a <br /> Gone Tomatoes , Earl Mills Sr. d/b/a The Flume, Willex Corporation <br /> Market Street Pizza, New Seabury Company Limited Partnership d/b/a <br /> • New Seabury Country Club, Poet ' s Pub, Inc. d/b/a Bobby Byrnes , Q.V.C. C. , <br /> Seabreeze Liquors , Inc. d/b/a Mashpee Commons Spirits , Seafarer of <br /> Cape Cod Ltd d/b/a The Seafarer Family Restaurant , Triple "C" Enter- <br /> prises , Inc. and Ralph Wheelden a/b/a Ratoli ' s . The motion was seconded <br /> by Selectman Caffyn. The vote of the Board is unanimous . The vote <br /> is 4-0 . <br /> 8 :45 p.m. NEW BUSINESS : <br /> Appointment of Skilled Laborer DPW: <br /> Mr. Taylor informs the Board this position will fall within <br /> the 95% spending cap. Recommended by the Personnel Board and Mr. <br /> Taylor to fill the vacancy is Richard Hawryluk of Mashpee . <br /> ***The motion was made by Selectman Mills to appoint Richard <br /> Hawryluk to fill the vacancy in the DPW as skilled laborer. The motion <br /> was seconded by Selectman Caffyn. The vote of the Board is unanimous . <br /> The vote is 4-0 . <br /> Appointment of Temporary Outreach Worker: <br /> Selectman Jacobson notes the vacancy will be filled on an interim <br /> basis while Lynne Waterman is away on maternity leave. She notes the <br /> grant of ten hours to be paid for by Respite Care Worker. <br /> The Personnel Board has recommended to hire Wendy Sheehan who <br /> has experience as an Outreach Program Director for the Edgartown <br /> . Council on Aging. Ms . Sheehan is interested on an interim basis informs <br /> Selectman Jacobson. <br /> Selectman Vaccaro asks if a portion of Mrs . Waterman ' s maternity <br /> leave is paid for by the Town? It was not immediately known by the <br /> Board if this is so. This will be an agenda item for December 30th <br /> l <br />
