The School Building Committee has worked hard and this is a better proposal indicates Selectman Jacobson. it is what we origin- ally planned for and gives us the opportunity to expand for a jr ./sr. high school . ****The 'mo ion was made by Selectman Mills to vote to support the recommendation of the School Building Committee for a fifteen room addition to the diddle school without the use of portable classrooms . The motion was seconded by selectman Lawrence. The vote of the Board is unanimous. The vote is - . *selectman Lawrence informs the Board that he is opposed to an elein '_for any debt exclusion or override. ****The motion was made by Selectman Lawrence to approve the special. Town Meeting 6n March 9, 1992 for the purpose of pre senting the fif- teen classroom addition to the Middle School , The motion was seconded by Selectman Mills . The vote of the Board is unanimous . The vote is& -o. ****The motion was made by selectman Mills to hold the Special Election for the purpose of a debt exclusion for the fifteen room addition to the -Middle School . The Special Election is to be held as soon as i can lawfully be hld after March 9 , 1992 . The motion was seconded by Selectman Jacobson. The vote is favorable, The vote is -1 . selectman Lawrence is in opposition. 8 : 30 p.m. OLD BUSINESS Ambulance Billing Contract : The addenda to the Ambulance Billing Contract requested by Town Counsel includes a bond to be paid for by the Ambulance Receipts Account, the, agreement that Arlene Murphy is an Independant Contractor . and not an employee of the Town. She is to receive a 1099 form and be responsible to report and file her own tax return. Termination is the third addenda for just cause at any time fol- lowing, notice and a public hearing. The Board of Selectmen are to be the signatories on the addendum indicates Counsel . Chief Ridgeway notes there is 'an expected savings by doing this in- house. The Finance Committee has estimated several thousand dollars each year. All work is done at the station and recorded on a time sheet, The maximum hours per week is fifteen rel aces Chief Ridgeway. This is good sound business pra ice. Town Counsel has recommended o go forth with the addenda of the Ambulanoe�: Bi l l in Contract . *The motion was made by Selectman Lawrence to approve the Addenda Number l to the Fire and Rescue Department Ambulance B-illing Contract .
