L <br /> A t y <br /> f <br /> A <br /> BOARD OF SELECTMEN Page <br /> MINUTES <br /> MONDAYr _FEBRUARY 31 1992 <br /> Public Hearing: Pe Botel l V re: Aboveground Storage: <br /> Selectman Mills has recommended to place restrictions on the <br /> exercising of the license upon review from the Board of Health and <br /> postpone the decisione:of the Board until the next meeting. <br /> Mr. Greelish informed the Board that a health agent will do an <br /> on site inspection tomorrow. He is familiar with 21E and notes the <br /> review and acceptance by the Board of Health can be rade next week. <br /> ****The moti n was made by Selectman Mills to grant the license <br /> application of Paul R. Botello, Bowdoin Road? Mashpee for aboveground <br /> storage of diesel fuel and waste oil subject to the conditions the <br /> Board of Health deems appropriate since this is in th w ter protection <br /> district . The motion was seconded by Selectman caffyn. The vote of <br /> the Board is unanimous . The vote is - . <br /> *Chief t id eway ,suggests the Board consider a policy for above <br /> round tanks that the Board of Health be involved for comment prior <br /> to the public hearing since the authority is- shared between the Fire <br /> Department and the Board of Health. He indicates the Fire Dep rtment <br /> has the permit authority and the Board of Selectmen are the license <br /> authority. <br /> The Board of Health is automatically involved as part of the <br /> procedure indicates selectman Mills . They are regulated through <br /> the ground water protection district . Mr, costa concurs . <br /> Deputy Baker notes that he is currently viewing regulations and <br /> developing rules with Turn counsel . He suest.e to develop a policy <br /> where all tanks aro reviewed by the Board of Health prior to the review <br /> of the Fire Department * <br /> . <br /> The Board is in agreement with Deputy Baker to develop regulations <br /> with Town counsel of the suggested policy pertaining to the Board of <br /> Health. . <br /> 7 : 49 p.-m. Richard Dubin re: Application for Proposed Affordable <br /> Housing Develo rent "The Village at route 13011 - --25 Emits : <br /> The application process procedure includes written support from <br /> the Board of selectmen, the signature of the Selectmen on the applica- <br /> tion, a representative to attend a community development meeting with <br /> the state in Boston, site approval and approval of the comprehensive <br /> permit from the Board of Appeals indicates Attorney Dubin, <br /> The Board of Selectmen view the concept whereby the Board of Appeals <br /> review the project in terms of technical details informs Attorney <br /> Dubin. <br /> Twenty-five units are proposed on 'the 13 . 5 acre site adjacent to <br /> the ballfield off Pte. 130 informs Attorney Dubin, seven units will <br /> be affordable housing unite. <br /> Indication from the cape cod Commission relates concerns towards <br /> utter resources and affordable housing_.
