The motion was seconded by Selectman Caffyn. <br /> VOTE: Unanimous . 5-0 . <br /> Jack Sheppard re: Boat Ramp/South Cape Beach: <br /> Money is available in the budget to build a boat ramp facility <br /> relates Mr. Sheppard. He is interested in revitalizing existing facilit- <br /> ies in Mashpee . Mr. Sheppard will review the sites in Mashpee . <br /> The Board will obtain input from the South Cape Beach Advisory <br /> Committee and Waterways Committee towards this concern. <br /> Mr. Baker suggested to consider a ramp at Little River to give <br /> access to Waquoit Bay. <br /> 8 : 00 P.M. Jonathan Fitch re : Pimlico Pond Road: <br /> Attorney Fitch was present in representation of Phyllis Thompson <br /> who owns the land on either side of the dangerous section of road on <br /> . Pimlico Pond Road . <br /> The proposed step one is to abandon and layout the road again re- <br /> lates Attorney Fitch. No costs are associated with step one he indicates . <br /> There is an article placed on the Annual Town Meeting Warrant for <br /> this concern. Chapter 90 funds are available for this project . <br /> Selectman Caffyn requests to obtain a precise figure from Greg <br /> Taylor. There are other roads in town that require assistance . She <br /> asks for input from Mr. Taylor to see if this is a priority area to spend <br /> Chapter 90 funds . <br /> Selectman Vaccaro is in agreement to know the cost factor. There <br /> is no point in doing step one unless we do step two and� e costs in- <br /> volved. <br /> Town Counsel relates with Town Meeting authorization of the layout , <br /> the Selectmen have to act within 120 days to vote to accept the layout. <br /> Attorney Fitch will meet with Mr. Taylor and return to the Board . <br /> 8 : 25 p.m. COMMUNICATION AND CORRESPONDENCE: <br /> Tickets are still available for the Senior Citizens Association <br /> Dance on Saturday night relates Selectman Jacobson. <br /> Town Counsel has recommended the Board not meet with the Zoning <br /> Board of Appeals . He indicates if a matter is pending before the ZBA, <br /> it is unwise for the Board of Selectmen to meet with the ZBA. The Board <br /> should act independently on their own. <br /> A letter is acceptable from the Board of Selectmen to the ZBA of <br /> • this concern. <br />
