Public Hearin : Liquor License of Ockry ' s Tradin <br /> Post : <br /> Mr. Harrington related that notification was received in <br /> February of the closing of the operation of c ry 's Trading <br /> Post , Two letters were seat to the owner who is now residing in <br /> Florida . Both letters were returned * One was refused and the <br /> other was undeliverable. <br /> The Police report indicated the establishment has been <br /> closed since January of 1992 . The owner is aware of tonight ' s <br /> Public Hearing and does net plan to re-open the establishment . <br /> The mortgage institution has also been notified of the Public <br /> Hearing. <br /> Being o comment from the publict *The motion was made by <br /> Selectman Vaccaro to close the public Hearing. The motion was <br /> seconded by Selectman Mills. VOTE: Unanimous . 3-0 . <br /> The notion was made by Selectman Vaccaro to revoke the <br /> license of Co ry t s Trading post for the reason of ab-an onment of <br /> the premises and non-use of the license for a period in excess of <br /> two months - a l l to the detriment of the public, The motion was <br /> seconded by Selectman Mills, VOTE: Unanimous. 3-0 . <br /> Mr.' Harrington will notify ABCC and the at to trey i <br /> representation of Oc ry ' s Trading Post. The license should be <br /> returned to the Town. <br /> 7 * 5z) . . Kevin Kirrane,. <br /> Greg Taylor reviewed Donna ' s Lane and the layout of the road <br /> as requested by the Board of Selectmen. He indicates there will <br /> be no interference with the operation of the mini golf <br /> establishment that abuts the read layout. <br /> The preliminary sketch of the road l a you' includethree <br /> lames and an island relates Mr. Taylor. The road narrows to two <br /> lames after the entrance of the road . The layout of the travel <br /> lames outside the fence is approximately 51 and marrows to about <br /> 3 ' <br /> The future bike path could begin at the top of the hill <br /> suggests Mr. Taylor. It could be extended when the mini golf <br /> establishment relocates . <br /> The layout withJob's Fishing Road is not impacted with the <br /> full entrance of Donna ' s bare and the two drainage leaching <br /> basins proposed will be of no problem relates Mr, Taylor, <br /> The exisiting 41 chain link fence does not effect what we <br /> have to do informs Mr , Taylor, <br /> Mr. Talanian has agreed to place the Town as a loss payee on <br /> his insurance policy and will carry the liability insurance in a <br /> written indemnification agreement to save the Town harmless. <br /> Selectman Caffyn indicates her concern towards Sailor ' s, She does <br /> not wart to prohibit Sailor ' s from finishing the road as the ZBA has <br /> proposed. <br />
