} BOARD OF SELECTMEN Page MINUTES MONDAY, APRIL 13t 1992 School Building committee status Report: Selectman caffyn suggests to prepare a presentation for voter information. The school Building committee could use the same presentation used for the Special Town Meeting, she also suggests to notify the newspaper and have handouts available at Town Meeting. Mr. Diniio indicates that he is willing to organize and talk with interested groups . Town counsel indicates the lead time is ten days to advertise in the centra. Register. He is still in review of the RFP and relates the Selectmen can approve the RFP subject to the review of Town counsel . .Deidre Greelish suggests to delete the square footage of the addition in the Background Information of the RFP to let the architect make the determination of square footage. Mrs. Greelish also recommends to review the criteria for Proposal Acceptance. The RFP indicates the School Building Committee will rank the three finalists and negotiate the fee with the top ranked finalist . The final f ee is subject to the approval of the Board of Selectmen, Mr. Taylor relates that it is appropriate to discuss the fee in an interview process . Town counsel indicates the fee cannot go into the RFP, *The Board will meet with the school Building Committee on Thursday morning to finalize the RFP. Members of the Finance Committee will be present for discussion. 9 : 26 p.m. EXECUTIVE SECRETARY WEEKLY REPORT: - With the recent acceptance of the Managed Health care option to be offered to employee l s-, the process has started informs . Mr. Harrington. The information will be disseminated to employee ' s in the near future Mr. Harrington and selectman Mills met with Jack Shepard of the Public Access Board . Existing facilities -were reviewed , Mr. Shepard is working on a package to improve existing boat ramp facilities in Mashpee * The Vehicle Use Policy, Betterment Guideline and Inventory of Vehicles will be available for -the Board to review next wee} . A Public Hearing is scheduled for Wednesday, April 1 , 1992 at : 00 in the Town Hall. The purpose of the Public Hearing i for public comment on the grant application for improvements to the United church Village as proposed by NHP& fax was recently received from colonel Keating. A meeting is scheduled with senator Kennedy and congressman Studds at the Base on April 15f 1992 at 11 :00 a .m, They are looking for a representative from Mashpee+ selectman caffyn will attend the meeting in representation.
