y <br /> • a <br /> I <br /> M <br /> ♦ F <br /> BOARD of SELECTMEN Page <br /> MINUTES <br /> MONDAY, APRIL 1 , 1992 <br /> EXECUTIVE SECRETARY WEEKLY REPORT: <br /> A complaint was received by Assistant District Attorney <br /> Long ' s office. The request has been made to forward copies o <br /> March 5 and 12 , 1992 minutes . Once the minutes have been accepted <br /> by the Board they will be forwarded to his office,. <br /> Data will be available on the 15th of April' in reference to <br /> workman ' s compensation, Selectman Vaccaro indicates it may be at <br /> desired option to explore. <br /> The matter of Great Oak Road and the lot of Mr. Kerrigan has <br /> been ongoing in correspondence for .five gears informs Counsel . <br /> As the road now exists , it goes over his two lots . The road <br /> layout will be shifted with future funding from the state since <br /> they are promising to fund the relocation of Great Oak Road , <br /> Once the road is directed , Mr . Kerrigan will be able to take <br /> back his property. <br /> Deidre Greelish indicates the Town Report will contain the <br /> person, salary and department they have worked for, <br /> p.m. - OLD BUSINESS: <br /> Approval and Execution of SpecialZAnnual Town Meetin <br /> Warrants <br /> Selectman Vaccaro indicates his concern to article #1 of the <br /> Special Town Meeting. The sunt of $1200 is to be distributed to <br /> the Town Museum for enemy costs. This may continue to be an <br /> ongoing problem since the heat source is electric . <br /> Mr. Harrington relates the museum is also opened a greater <br /> amount of hours than the previous fiscal year . <br /> Selectman Vaccaro recommends the Board grant an amendment so <br /> the Finance Committee can adjust the Omnibus Budget . <br /> Article 13 : Selectman Vaccaro recommends to take the dollar <br /> figure out of the article to insert a sum of money and make the <br /> transfer. ,- - <br /> Article 1 : This will be discussed with Tori Eudala . <br /> Article 1 : Selectman Caffyn asks Town Counsel if there is <br /> a state statute to not override what we are proposjn to do? Town <br /> Counsel indicates the power of the Executive Secretary can be <br /> modified . <br /> Selectman Vaccaro indicates the conflict in the bylaw had to <br /> do with the appointment of the Building Inspector. This seems to <br /> send a message that the Board of Selectmen want to handle the <br /> daily admin iB native duties of the Town. <br />
