BOARD OF SELECTMEN Page 7 MINUTES MONDAY, MAY 11 , 1992 Flea Market Guidelines : ***The motion was made by Selectman Jacobson to discuss the Flea Market Guidelines since it is not an agenda item. The motion was seconded by Selectman Costa . VOTE: Unanimous. 5-0 . Selectman Vaccaro made note the Chamber was to be invited to the discussion. Selectman Costa related that Mr . Marandola is also not present . Mr. Zammer indicated that a letter is forthcoming from the Chamber with regards to the Flea Market . He made reference to page 33 of the Town Report and the lack of enforcement with regards to Town Meeting last year . Selectman Caffyn noted that the article does not say that it was passed . Town Counsel related that the article was amended to remove the dollar amount. The Selectmen have the authority to set the fee. Mrs. Mason indicates the final draft should be ready next week for approval . NEW BUSINESS : Appointment of Fire Department Administrative Secretary: ***The motion was made by Selectman Vaccaro to appoint Sheila Hurrie as Administrative Secretary to the Fire Department . The motion was seconded by Selectman Mills. VOTE: Unanimous . 5-0 . Memo from the Fire Chief re : Fire Prevention Fee Schedule : Deputy Baker gave a brief overview of the fee schedule proposed relative to fire prevention activities . He indicates the fees are comparable to other Towns in the Commonwealth. The recommendation is to begin the new fee schedule on July 1 , 1992 . ****The motion was made by Selectman Jacobson to approve the Fire Prevention Fee Schedule . The motion was seconded by Selectman Costa . VOTE: Unanimous. 5-0 . Memo from the Fire Chief re: Tanker Rehab FY93 : ****The motion was made by Selectman Vaccaro to accept the low bid of $40, 000 from Fire Resources , Inc . for Tanker refurbishment . The motion was seconded by Selectman Mills . VOTE: Unanimous . 5-0 .
