i <br /> { ti <br /> BOARD of SELECTMEN Page <br /> MINUTES <br /> THURSDAY, MAY 71 1992 <br /> Other Business/Correspondence: <br /> Agenda item: Appointment will be made on Monday, May 11 , <br /> 1992 to the Community Action Committee. <br /> The Board is in agreement to request the information from <br /> the Personnel Board with regards to the Tata Collector employee <br /> that handles the Water District work. <br /> Beach Sticker Policy: Agenda item: May 1 , 1992 . <br /> Landfill Contract : George Costa 'indicated that the issue of <br /> the workman ' s compensation insurance claim has been resolved . <br /> Division of Marine Fisheries : The Board will Make at public <br /> announcement on Monday, May 11 , 1992 with regards to the sale o <br /> land in response to a letter received from the Division of Marine <br /> Fisheries . <br /> With regards to the seasonal restricted shellfish, it was <br /> noted to be taken care of by the Shellfish Constable* <br /> Memo from Jane Labute : A Memo was received from the Town <br /> Clerk with regards to the change in size of the ring for <br /> shellfish gauges. The Shellfish Commission is scheduled to <br /> review the change at their next meeting. <br /> A letter was received from the Barnstable County <br /> Commissioners requesting nomination for a member to serve on the <br /> Horne Advisory Council , Selectman Jacobson recommends to post and <br /> advertise for the position . <br /> Board of Appeals Vacancy: Selectman Mills recommends to <br /> advertise for the vacancy. <br /> Moorings : As -of today, 430 mooring renewals have been paid <br /> indicates Selectman Vaccaro, There are sixteen individuals uals that <br /> have document of a mooring permit issued , but they have not been <br /> posted . sixteen people are currently on a waiting list for <br /> moorings. <br /> Upon review of goal estate and boat excise taxes , there are <br /> eleven delinquent for two years and five delinquent for one year <br /> for boat excise tees . There is no delinquency with regards to <br /> ,real estate taxes informs Selectman Vaccaro. <br /> *The Board is in agreement to have the Harbormaster access the <br /> mooring situation. ' They recommend he send a letter to the individuals <br /> who are tax delinquent and indicate the time period of thirty days <br /> to rake the required payment or the mooring permit will be revoked. <br /> Selectman Vaccaro noted that the Harbormaster will put together <br /> a plan after he accesses the waters . He recommends to give Mr. Madden <br /> an additional waterways assistant . r . Bohnenberger has been appointed. <br /> Selectman Vaccaro recommends to use his services . <br /> The Board is in agreement to have Mr, Madern ' s roo.ommen fat i on <br /> relative to the waiting list and general moorings and conditions. <br />
