i { ti BOARD of SELECTMEN Page MINUTES THURSDAY, MAY 71 1992 Other Business/Correspondence: Agenda item: Appointment will be made on Monday, May 11 , 1992 to the Community Action Committee. The Board is in agreement to request the information from the Personnel Board with regards to the Tata Collector employee that handles the Water District work. Beach Sticker Policy: Agenda item: May 1 , 1992 . Landfill Contract : George Costa 'indicated that the issue of the workman ' s compensation insurance claim has been resolved . Division of Marine Fisheries : The Board will Make at public announcement on Monday, May 11 , 1992 with regards to the sale o land in response to a letter received from the Division of Marine Fisheries . With regards to the seasonal restricted shellfish, it was noted to be taken care of by the Shellfish Constable* Memo from Jane Labute : A Memo was received from the Town Clerk with regards to the change in size of the ring for shellfish gauges. The Shellfish Commission is scheduled to review the change at their next meeting. A letter was received from the Barnstable County Commissioners requesting nomination for a member to serve on the Horne Advisory Council , Selectman Jacobson recommends to post and advertise for the position . Board of Appeals Vacancy: Selectman Mills recommends to advertise for the vacancy. Moorings : As -of today, 430 mooring renewals have been paid indicates Selectman Vaccaro, There are sixteen individuals uals that have document of a mooring permit issued , but they have not been posted . sixteen people are currently on a waiting list for moorings. Upon review of goal estate and boat excise taxes , there are eleven delinquent for two years and five delinquent for one year for boat excise tees . There is no delinquency with regards to ,real estate taxes informs Selectman Vaccaro. *The Board is in agreement to have the Harbormaster access the mooring situation. ' They recommend he send a letter to the individuals who are tax delinquent and indicate the time period of thirty days to rake the required payment or the mooring permit will be revoked. Selectman Vaccaro noted that the Harbormaster will put together a plan after he accesses the waters . He recommends to give Mr. Madden an additional waterways assistant . r . Bohnenberger has been appointed. Selectman Vaccaro recommends to use his services . The Board is in agreement to have Mr, Madern ' s roo.ommen fat i on relative to the waiting list and general moorings and conditions.
