BOARD OF SELECTMEN Page MINUTES THUR DAY r JUNE 18f 1992 Personnel Issues : Selectman Mills indicates that she is angry over this and extremely disappointed in the Chairman, Since selectman Caf yn personally dislikes Sevin Harrington, this is all part of her obsessive vendettas against Kevin Harrington. Just because you dislike him so much, you feel everyone else should tool Selectman Vaccaro indicates that he is tired of the abusive power he has seen, Selectman Costa relates that there is a general law on record to return public possessions upon termination of employment. Selectman Jacobson notes that the Chairman has been trying to do the work. We as a Board have made a promise to the people of the Town to work together , Selectman Costa relates that he was told by the Chair of what she was doing. He questions whether she received the correct advice from Counsel . Attorney Morse indicates that she talked with Selectman Cafyn on Monday. This was to he an Executive Session item of discussion since there were situations perceived in the Selectmen ' s Office regarding Mrs. Mason. I felt it was inappropriate to bring it up unless Mrs. Mason received a 48 hour notice . Selectman Costa indicates that he would of preferred to discuss this in a different manner than presented, amongst the i Board Members . Selectman Caffyn relates that she is trying to work as a body and felt she would bring all of the Board Members into the discussion . There may he things we need to have returned and that i.s the reason for the letter to Mr. Darrington. *The motion was made by Selectman Jacobson to send a letter to Kevin Harrington requesting any files or property of the Town of Mashpee he returned to the Town Hall . The motion was seconded y Selectman Mills . VOTE: Unanimous. - .� *Selectman Jacobson has requested that Mrs. Mason deep the Board of Selectmen informed, We all have to try and work together.
