With regards to the <br /> DPW incident , he will discuss this concern with Mr. Taylor. <br /> Selectman Vaccaro also indicates that he will discuss the <br /> incidents with the Police Department .. He recommends for <br /> M . Minerella to leave his telephone. number with Mrs. Mason so he <br /> may report back to him. <br /> Paul Keefe <br /> Computer eraoronsulaant Paul Keefe was present to meet <br /> with the Board . <br /> ***The motion was made by Selectman Mills to approve the <br /> Personal Services Contract with Paul keefe for Computer <br /> Operator/Consultant services . The motion was seconded by <br /> Selectman Jacobson. VOTE: Unanimous . - . <br /> Stephen Gree l i sh re: Treatment Fac i l i t <br /> Mr, Greelish was present to review various treatment options <br /> from the Draft Report the Region <br /> al Sep age Feasibility Study. <br /> i <br /> Mashee ' s seatage lagoons are essentially rock lined pits <br /> informs Mr. Greelish. We have been at -capacity for at least five <br /> years of 4000 gallons per day. He notes that Sandwich is in a <br /> similar state of capacity. <br /> i <br /> Several sites were reviewed in Mashee and Sandwich for the <br /> possible treatment fac.i l i ty informs Mr, Gree l i sh. . The optimum <br /> is site #28 which is located in the area of Pte . 6 and Pte. 130 <br /> on Military property. The location is near the waste water <br /> treatment' facility located on the base . <br /> The waste water treatment facility located on the base is <br /> over 50 years old informs Mr, Greelish, It is under mandate by <br /> the - state to be replaced. The Military is proposing to build a <br /> new waste water treatment facility adjacent to the old waste <br /> water treatment facility indicates Mr . Greelish. <br /> A nine rile pipeline is proposed by the Military to <br /> discharge into sand filter beds located on the edge of the <br /> canal . The environmental impact is- low and the capital <br /> expenditure would be less notes Mr. Greelish. <br /> Mashpee and sandwich would tale over the operation of both <br /> facilities relates Mr. Greelish, The Military would become <br /> customers of the towns for sewerage and waste water treatment . <br /> This is approximately l% of the entire equation. <br />
