There is a time frame in terms of en i neer in . <br /> The Military is on a fast track to get the new facility on line <br /> for next year since the current waste water treatment facility is <br /> a source of pollution, <br /> Mr, Greelish has recommended the Board support alternative <br /> 2A as recommended by the Board of Health as a possible or <br /> probable solution to Mashpee ' s problems . He has recommended the <br /> Board send a letter of support to the -Military. <br /> Mr, Greelish gave an update of current costs relative to <br /> alternative 2A and 2B. Mashpee ' s operational and maintenance <br /> cost including the capital bond fee is estimated to be $410, 530 <br /> per year under alternative 2A. <br /> The estimated annual cost for alternative 2B is $611, 829 . <br /> This includes o & M and the capital bond informs Mr. Greelish. <br /> 2A 2B <br /> Capital : 5 ,163 , 844 7, 807 ,044 <br /> o & M: ]. ,761 , 375 21348, 500 <br /> Total : 6f925 , 21.9 l0f155 , 544 <br /> Annual : 410, 530 611, 829 <br /> Mr. Greelish indicates that at this time , Bourne is unable <br /> to make a commitment to join the system, He notes that they have <br /> an agreement with. Wareham to tape away some of their sewerage. <br /> There has also been an outcry with regards to the location of the <br /> discharge beds, Mr , Greelish indicates- that if Bourne is to join <br /> the - facility, capacity would have to be increased. <br /> **The motion was made by Selectman costa to send a letter of <br /> support to alternative 2A as recommended. by the Board of Health <br /> to the Mass. Military Reservation. The motion was seconded by <br /> Selectman M,il is . VOTE: Unanimuous. 4-09 <br /> It was noted that the annual cost of scenario 2A including the <br /> Town of Bourne is estimated to be $355 , 963 . Alternative 2B <br /> annual with Bourne - $529 ,405 . <br /> A presentation will he given when the report is finalized <br /> notes Mr. Greelish. He will then return to the Selectmen for <br /> further discussion and formation of a committee at that time. An <br /> article for Town Meeting is anticipated for the May Town Meeting. <br />
