BOARD OF SELECTMEN Page 9 <br /> MINUTES <br /> MONDAY, AUGUST 17, 1992 <br /> Special Meeting Regarding David Hendricks Estate Settlement : <br /> Selectman cayn notes that this carne about as a request <br /> from the family because of comments made in the Judge ' s chamber. <br /> The purpose of the meeting is to explain in public the actual <br /> settlement and what it means at the request of the family. <br /> Attorney Morse related that there was indication in chambers <br /> that sergeant Mace would resign and leave his position in the <br /> Town of Mashpee. <br /> Selectman caffyn indicates that a letter was received from <br /> the Mashpee Wampanoag , Indian Tribal Council and concerned <br /> citizens Fernanding the immediate removal of sergeant Mace from <br /> the Mashpee Police Department . <br /> i <br /> Selectman cafyn indicates that Attorney Monahan is not <br /> expected to attend the special meeting. She will contact Nudge <br /> Watson regarding his attendance. <br /> i <br /> ***The motion was made by Selectman Mills to schedule the <br /> special public meeting on Thursday, August 20, 1992 at 7 : 3 <br /> P.M, The motion was seconded by Selectman Vaccaro, VOTE <br /> Unanimous . -0. <br /> Selectman caffyn notes that the meeting will be held in the <br /> Great Room. <br /> EXECUTIVE SECRETARY WEEKLY REPORT: <br /> As per the recommendation of Robert ert Thri tenour, the <br /> Selectmen will meet on Thursday to review the Warrant Articles <br /> in detail. <br /> Selectman Vaccaro made mote to include the quarterly tax <br /> bills and the transfer of $2500 from theSelectmen ' s account to <br /> repair the drainage at the Baptist church. <br /> Mr. Whritenour indicates that he has ret with Al Polsi <br /> relative to the Fiscal Policy Advisory Committee, With the major <br /> capital improvements that Mashpee is facing, Mr. Whritenour has <br /> recommended to formulate a coordinated strategy to address <br /> Mashpee ' s capital needs . <br /> Adjournment : <br /> *The motion was made by Selectman costar to adjourn at 8 : 11 <br /> p.m. The motion was seconded by Selectman Mills, VOTE: <br /> Unanimous. 5-0. <br /> F <br /> RWes submitted, <br /> Kathleen M.
