BOARD OF SELECTMEN Page MINUTES MOND ; MARCH l , 1993 NEW BUSINESS: Executive Secretary re; Performance Evaluation: **The motion was made by Selectman vaccaro to place the Performance Evaluation fora of the Executive Secretary on the agenda. The motion was seconded by Selectman Jacobson. VOTE: Unanimous. - . Selectman vaccaro distributed the six month performance evaluation document to the Board set forth under the guidelines of the International Association of City Managers. He noted that Selectman Caffyn also participated in the formulation of the performance documents The evaluation is comprised of two parts informed Selectman ac aro. The first being Mr. Whritenour's self evaluation, This will include the Executive Secretary's goals and objectives as presented to the Board last fall with an update of accomplishments.. The second portion of the document is the evaluation form noted Selectman vaccaro. The Board will have the ability to rate Mr. Whritenour in numeric value. Five being the highest score and one, the lowest informed Selectman vaccro. The evaluation will then be aggregated and based on the evaluations as submitted by the full Board of Selectmen indicated Selectman vaccaro . Included in the document is an area for new performance objectives related Selectman Vaccaro, Mr, Whritenour will have the ability to respond with his proposed plan of action to meet the Board's new objectives. *The Board is in agreement to review and complete the evaluation document on Monday, March 8, 1993, The completed evaluations will be discussed and compiled at a separate mee frig. :15 p.m. Linda Murtha re: Educational Facilities Needs Report: Linda Mur iLa ; CommitteeChairman of the Educational Facilities Needs Committee was present to discuss the final report dated February of 1993. Included for discussion were, Merry Sue Ahlgren, Carolyn Anderson, Al Po1i, Thomas Potts and Wendy Williams& (Educational Facilities Needs Report enclosed). I*
