BOARD of SELECTMEN Page <br />MINUTES <br />MONDAY, JUNE l4f 1993 <br />COMMUNICATIONS AND CORRESPONDENCE <br />New Seabury Waste Water Treatment Plant: The regulatory <br />authority falls under the jurisdiction of the Board of Health <br />related Mr. Greelih. He noted that a representative from the <br />Board of Health will be present at the meeting of June 24, 19. <br />*The motion was made by Selectman Mills to submit <br />communication to the cape Cod Commission stressing the importance <br />of local regulatory boards and nitrogen levels. The Board o <br />Selectmen appreciate the adequate time to review the proposal and <br />have no objection to thex draft agreement between New Seabury and <br />the Cape cod Commission. The motion was seconded by Selectman <br />Costa. VOTE: Favorable. -1 . Selectman Caffyn is in <br />opposition. <br />Breast Cancer Screening Program: <br />Free in -home nursing visits to teach the elderly breast <br />cancer screening. Appointments scheduled on a first core first <br />serge basis. The motion was <br />seconded by Select -man Mills. VOTE: Unanimous. - <br />Hydro -geological Study - Engineering Services <br />***The notion was made-. by Selectman Jacobson to place the <br />discussion of the Hydro -geological Study and related Engineering <br />Services on the Board's agenda. The motion was seconded by <br />Selectman Costa. VOTE: Unanimous, -o . <br />The firm of Weston and Sampson has been selected to conduct <br />the Engineering Services related to the Hydro -geological Study at <br />the Town Landfill for an estimated sun of $127,000 indicated <br />Mr. Greelish. <br />*The motion was made by Selectman Mills to execute the <br />agreement with Weston and Sampson as defined for the Hyrdo- <br />eoloical Study related to the Town landfill.
