And we were so concerned, I really thought and
relived that you would listen. l first went to Mr. Whinr,
I said to him there is a repeat of past performances here, a
struggle for power such as Mr. Connell went through.
. Hyde -Reed: An . he under..s what ever it is, all the
gossip, the innuendo's and things were happening all over again.
And the thing of it Is. we don't want it to happen again.
Mashpe seniors need someone, .. Christine would never come
back. . e would never be lucky y enough to get her back. We need
that type of person.
Ms. Hyde -Reed: I thought you did not give me the dignity or
the understanding when I spoke to you. I then went to our
Chairman and I told him, I'm witnessing the very same thing. I
previously refused to'testify for Bob Connell although I was
there from day one. And saw all the horrible things that
happened and Bob Connell could have sued us in his first giro
months. Christine could have sued us in -her first three months..
Ms. Hyde -Reed: I have legal advice to hack that up.
Instead I wont to you because we trusted you. Jinn, you promised
support, You both said , don"don"t worry she's backed all up, and
l feel that you've let us dowry previ us l . We must remove Carol
from the senior Center. She's got to let us people run that
center and back up. They are afraid to come forward, these
people, half of them are the ones that called me s
Ms. Hyde -Reed; I had twenty-one calls. I don't want to get
involved. I am just recovering from a strokes l don't want to
get involved, however, this is so important. I dent think you
realize how the pudic feels. You had a closed Meeting, you are
listening to two or throe people. I am telling you, the
community is enraged, truly enraged. Carol hasn't got a chance
in getting re-elected.- she knows that and we know that. Arid I
am worried about the rest of you.
Ms. Hyde -Reed: Please Yelp us and listen to us.
Margie Pierce: Two weeks ago, sixty of us, senior citizens
cane and spoke eloquently, pleaded with you to pay attention
that this is a woman who is being mistreated, She was,..there
were rurnors we heard that you wer-enTt going to reappoint her for
the next year, caused us to come because we ]anew that you .. what
you were ]using your votes on.
I
