The motion was seconded by <br />Selectman Mills. VOTE: Unanimous. - . <br />Change Order No. 1 for Middle school Addition: <br />*The motion was made by Selectman Costa to approve Change <br />Order No. 1 in the amount of.$29,197,00 for additions, <br />renovations to the Mashpee Middle School. The motion was <br />seconded by Selectman Mills. VOTE: Unanimous. -o. <br />Upper_Cape nsortium Update: <br />Selectman Caffyn discussed her memo of April 9, 1993 as it <br />relates to the Lipper Cape Towns Consortium proposal with the <br />towns o 'Mashpee, Sandwich, Falmouth and Bourne. <br />Selectman Caffyn indicated that all four towns are <br />interested in continuing the Lipper Cape Towns Consortium <br />proposal. As a result, we will continue to schedule steering <br />committee meetings informed selectman Caffyn. <br />Quarterly meetings will be scheduled with all Board of <br />Selectmen members from each of the four towns informed Selectman <br />afyn at a date to be announced. <br />It was noted that approximately 7,000 residents live in the <br />four town consortium on a year round basis. The major issue of <br />discussion and concern related to the Otis clean-up indicated <br />Selectman Caffyn. <br />Discussion relative to Compensation for Acting Deputy Fire <br />Chief; <br />Mro Whritenour indicated that he concurs with the <br />recommendation of the Personnel Board to compensate the Acting Deputy <br />Fire Chief during the period that he is Acting Deputy Fire Chief. <br />Rita Sousa indicated that Lt. Hamblin is unable to receive <br />overtire as a result of his appointment as Acting Deputy Fire <br />Chief. <br />Selectman Costa; liaison to the Fire Department indicated <br />that he concurs with the recommendation as provided by the <br />Personnel Board. <br />I <br />L <br />
