His personal policy is to warn on the <br />first offense. A repeat offender will be issued a ticket <br />informed Mr, Chapman.. <br />Last year,.Mr. Chapman managed 1-12 temporary people <br />during the height of the fishing season, During the extended <br />season, he Managed four employee's as a commercial fisherman.. <br />r. Chapman indicated that he has little experience with <br />computers, but is knowledgeable using a loran. (navigational <br />computer <br />s a member of the Chatham Waterways Commission-, Mr. Chapman <br />has prepared articles for Town Meeting. He is mechanically <br />inclined and experienced with boat maintenance. <br />Mr. Chapman- indicated that he is a "hands on" type of person <br />and will be available to work with related Town boards and <br />commissions. He would need approximately one week to familiarize <br />hi►slf with Mashpee's waterways if appointed as Harbormaster. <br />In Chatham, Mr. Chapman helped to institute a computerized <br />mooring system. This included a town boat sticker and bright <br />sticker on the mooring itself. -card was maintained by the town <br />as to the type and size of the boat, information about the owner <br />and who to contact in the event of an emergency, violation cards <br />were issued to boat owners for non payment of taxes noted <br />Mr, Chapman. <br />:30 p,m, Perry Ellis: <br />Mr. Ellis reviewed his past employment history with the <br />Board. As a lifelong resident of the area before relocating to <br />Maine, Mr. Ellis indicated that he is very familiar with <br />Mashpee's waterways. <br />Mr. Ellis was employed by the Town of Mashpee as a Special <br />Police Officerr Herring Warden, Police Waterways Safety Officer, <br />Natural Resource officer and Dog officer from June of 193 to <br />19850 <br />Mr. Ellis was also employed by the Town of Falmouth as a <br />Natural Resource Officer. He is currently a correctional Officer <br />in Charleston, Maine. He is willing to relocate to Mashpee i-P <br />appointed as Harbormaster. <br />C� <br />
