Mr. Rittenburg indicated that the local <br />contamination is non -hazardous. <br />Several attributes of the Route 1.51 site include; flat <br />topography to be easily developed, in the area of ongoing <br />development to create job activities, easy access to library, <br />Fire and Police stations. <br />Both sites 'require en ironmenta.l" investigation informed <br />Mr.' � ittenl ur . The Route 151 site is adjacent to a wildlife <br />protection zone, reduces accessibility to bicycle use, requires a <br />setback from the power lines and buffer from Route 151. <br />Mr. Diniio indicated that the High School Building <br />Committee was charged by the Board of selectmen to make a <br />recommendation to select the best high school site for Mashee. <br />The committee met on a weekly basis investigating and gathering <br />factual data about the two sites. <br />The majority of the High school Building Committee voted to <br />recommend -the Mashpee center site indicated Mr. Dini io-. <br />Although, there is no compell.ing evidence to, disqualify either ` <br />site, he has re ommended to allow 1.1 the people of Mashpee to <br />decide which site is the best for the -Town. <br />Selectman Mills presented several concerns. to. the matrix as <br />presented and conclusions.of such. The matrix does not - reflect <br />accurate information.
