Other Leave <br /> Leaves of absence of over three 3 months duration, except <br /> military leave, shall be considered a break in employment <br /> and on return to work, the employee shall 1have the status <br /> of a neer employee unless an extension of leave beyond three <br /> (3) months 1mas been recommnded by the Department Read and <br /> authorized by the Board. An employee on approved -heave of <br /> absence-will not be entitled to arq benefits. Absences for <br /> Personal reasons, approved by the Department Head, may be <br /> charged to vacation lease upon application by the employee <br /> such absences, however, may not be charged to vacation leave <br /> bend that which the employee bas earned at the time of <br /> such application. <br /> 21. Workmen's Compensation & Insurance for the Protective <br /> Services <br /> (a) Compensation and Insurance for the Protective <br /> Service policies paid for by the Town, are not the personal <br /> property of the employee covered but belong to the Town.
