10- <br /> of thirty--five (35 ) Yours per week. if an assignment requires <br /> work in excess of 40 hours per week, such overtime work must he <br /> authorized by the Department Head , prior to the work. <br /> 2 . Administrative and clerical employees shall be paid straight <br /> time for hours worked between 35 and 40 in the work week <br /> and will be paid one and one-half tires their regular hourly <br /> rate for hours worked beyond 40 in the work week, subject to <br /> the following limitations <br /> . work in excess of thirty five (35) hours per week must be <br /> authorized by the Department Head prior to doing the <br /> required work. <br /> b. overtime will not be credited for units less than twenty <br /> (20) minutes over the regular work week. <br /> C. This section does not apply to positons on a. regular (40) <br /> hour week. <br /> 3 . Management and professional employees shall not be paid for <br /> overtime. <br /> . Management and professional employees shall be eligible for <br /> compensatory time for hours worked in excess of forty (40) <br /> per week (32 hours per week for Holiday weeks) in accordance <br /> with the following limitations: <br /> Compensatory time must be approved by the Board. No more <br /> than two (2) days of compensatory time may be taken in any <br /> week; compensatory time is limited to ten days during <br /> each twelve ( 12) month period , beginning July and ending Tune <br /> 30 , except upon the express written approval of the Board of <br /> Selectmen. However, up to one ( 1) week of compensatory time <br /> may be added to vacation time ' subject to prior approval of <br />
