An employee presenting a grievance shall be assured of freedom <br /> from restraint , interference, discrimination or reprisal. . <br /> XVI . EDUCATION <br /> I . A regular full-time employee or regular part-tire employee who <br /> desires to take a. course at a high <br /> school , college, or special training program, which course <br /> is relevant to the work performed for the Town, may request <br /> approval for such course prior to registering from the Board . <br /> Upon the Board' s approval after successful completion with a <br /> grade of 70 (or the equivalency thereof) or better , and after a. <br /> certificate of completion has been. received from the school or <br /> college , the employee will be reimbursed for tuition and <br /> textbook expense upon the following conditions: <br /> a.. Total reimbursement for all personnel covered by this plan <br /> in any one year shall be limited to twenty-five hundred <br /> dollars ($2 ,500 .00) ,, <br /> . such courses must be taken during -dimand all <br /> employees agree that they shall make even effort t <br /> obtain Federal and/or Mate funding for their attendance <br /> at such classes if such money is available. <br />
