For new personnel , there shall be a probationary period <br /> of six months , During the probationary period, an <br /> employee may be terminated without prior warning and <br /> without cause. During the probationary period, the <br /> Board shall review, the employee' s record from time to <br /> time, and in no instance shall the employment be made <br /> regular without an approval by the Board after a. review <br /> of a Performance Appraisal prepared' b - the -Department <br /> Head, <br /> . During the probationary period , an empi,oyee will not b <br /> entitled to sick leave, education benefits and vacation <br /> leave.
