IX WORK WEEK AND RATE OF PAY <br /> 1 The regular work week for all full-time administrative <br /> and clerical employees shall be 37 1/2 hours . The regular <br /> work week for all supervisors and professional employees <br /> shall be forty 40 hours . <br /> 2 The work week shall commence at, 12 : 01 A. M . Sunday and ex- <br /> tend <br /> -tend 12 : 00 P . M. of the following Sunday. The regular work <br /> day shall start at 8 : 30 A .M . and end at 4 : 30 P. M. and include <br /> an unpaid lurch period of one-half hour for full -time admini- <br /> strative <br /> nini--strative and clerical employees . Lunch hours shall be <br /> staggered where necessary to assure that an employee i <br /> always available in each department to answer the telephone . <br /> Work schedules may be modified by the Board of Selectmen. <br /> Upon request of the employee and cc ncurrence, ire writing, <br /> of the Department Head a full -time administrative or clerical <br /> employee may elect a 35 hour per week with the work week com- <br /> mencing at 12401 A.M. Sunday and extending to 12 ; 00 P.M. of <br /> the following Saturday. The work day for an employee select- <br /> ing this option shall start at 8 : 30 A . M. and end at 49* 30 <br /> P.M. and include an unpaid lunch period of one hour. The <br /> election of this option may occur at any time but under n <br /> condition may the option be changed more frequently than once <br /> in a six-month period without prior written consent of the <br /> Board of Selectmen. Copies of the employee ' s election and <br /> department head ' s concurrence shall be filed with the <br /> Personnel Board, Town Accountant and Board of Selectmen. A <br /> denial by the Department Head for a request for a 35 hour <br /> i10_ <br /> 10_ <br />
