A non-probationary employee, injured in the performance <br /> of duty, may use accumulated sick leave to make up the dif- <br /> ference between workmen ' s compensation benefits received by <br /> the employee and the employee ' s base pay. <br /> e . An employee may use up to three days per year of his <br /> sick leave time for leave to take care of a member of his/her <br /> family living. in the same household who is sick . <br /> f . Sick Leave Bank, All persons covered by the Plan at <br /> their option may contribute from their personal sick leave <br /> accumulations into a sick leave bank as follows : Each <br /> employee may rake an initial contribution of two sick <br /> days upon completion of his~ probationary period , ( Incumbent <br /> employees who have already completed their probation may also <br /> make this contribution. In each subsequent year, in the <br /> month of July, employees may contribute one 1 sick clay <br /> unt.. 1 the bank contains a total minimum of sixty o days . <br /> Employees who have exhausted their personal sick leave <br /> credits may apply to the Board for a grant of bank days in <br /> cases of extended illness .
