Town Hall Parking Lot <br /> It is requested that all employees fallow the directional <br /> arrows in the parking lot at the rear of Town Hall. All <br /> employees are requested to use the rear* parking area. <br /> Travel and Transportation <br /> The Travel and Transportation Policy of the Town is designed <br /> to reimburse employees for actual, reasonable and necessary <br /> expenses incurred as a result of approved travel in connec- <br /> tion tion with the employee's duties or office, Employees u ing a <br /> private automobile shall be reimbursed for such travel at a <br /> rate of 25 cents per mile, (Refer to the mileage chart at <br /> back of handbook when submitting mileage vouchers for <br /> reimbursement) <br /> . <br /> Employees should complete the required forms for mileage <br /> reimbursement and other expenses (attach receipts) and have <br /> it approved by the appropriate supervisor and Department Head <br /> to be submitted to Accounting for payment. <br /> Dress Code <br /> Although we do not have ars official dress code, we ash: that <br /> you report to work dressed neatly and appropriately. <br /> Personnel receiving a clothing allowance for uniforms are <br /> required to wean the specified uniform. <br /> afe <br /> The Town of Mashpee is very concerned with maintaining a safe <br /> environment for all Town employees, Every effort is made to <br /> provide you with a healthy and safe working environment. You <br /> are reminded to use common sense to avoid needless acc i den is <br /> and to use the appropriate safety equipment, if required& <br /> Should an employee incur an injury or illness resulting from <br /> the performance of his/her job, Worker's Compensation as <br /> provided by law, would, in most cases, provide for medical <br /> expenses and compensate the employee for any lost time from <br /> work. <br /> -Accident i t h Town Vehicle <br /> If an accident involving a public vehicle, Town employee <br /> and/or private party occurs during working hours, them is a <br /> procedure which must be followed to protect both the employee <br /> and the Town. This procedure requires you to notify the <br /> Police Department which will conduct an accident investiga- <br /> tion. <br /> rivestiga- <br /> tion. Fill injuries should- be checked immediately by a <br /> qualified physician. Regardless of who is involved in the <br /> accident, the employee should notify the appropriate <br /> supervisor a oon as possible ars d complete a Town Accident <br /> Report form which can be obtained from the Police Department. <br />
