This item will be placed on the Board's <br /> agenda after Town Counsel's review will all entities involved in the process. <br /> Advisory from the Town Clerk regarding vacancy .on Board of <br /> Registrars: <br /> Communication was received from Jane L b te,Town Clerk dated June 6, 1994 <br /> regarding the resignation of Susan VanTol from the Board of Registrars. A copy <br /> of the letter submitted to the Democratic Town Committee was submitted to <br /> the Board for review. <br /> Motion made by Selectman Costa to accept -the resignation <br /> of Susan vanTol from the Board of Registrars with regret. <br /> Motion seconded by Selectman Caffyn, VOTE: Unanimous. -o. <br /> Economic Development Committee re: Business Guide Booklet, <br /> Signs at the Entrance of Town, Board Members: <br /> Economic Development Committee member Toni Potts presented a Guide <br /> Booklet of Mashpee as compiled by the Economic Development Committee <br /> and members of the community of Mashpee tepee for the Board's consideration. <br /> The pocket booklet design depicts Mashpee in relation to Massachusetts and <br /> Cape Cod on the front. The back includes a detailed map of Mashpee. The <br /> telephone and fax number of the Mashpee Town lull will be included under <br /> the heading as recommended by the Board. <br /> Mr. Potts suggested to print 500 copies of the Guide Booklet at this time. The <br /> pocket design will allow the booklet to be updated and reprised as needed. <br /> ' It is the consensus of the Board to print 500 copies of the Guide Booklet <br /> as recommended. Mr. whriteno r is authorized to work with Mr. Potts to <br /> select the printing f= to complete the booklet as outlined. <br /> Welcome signs depicting 1ahpee's Town Seal were presented to the Board <br /> for consideration. The Director of Public works has offered to provide labor <br /> assistance to plant shrubbery around the sign areas informed Mr. Potts. <br />
