Joe agreed , there is a language barrier . <br /> Bill Jones asked what the premium i s f o r this vs . a high g rade flat roof? <br /> The architect does not have an answer for that yet , <br /> Joe and Paul agreed it is more expensive , but not by much . <br /> Should the architect cost both roofs or should the Committee choose one <br /> today? <br /> Ray would like them to choose one. Their recommendation is e-ither the <br /> vaulted or off center pick is good . <br /> Paul Merry Sue , Bill Marti ros , Steve, Joe , Michael and Janice chose option <br /> IA- off center peaked reef . Bill Jones said his decision would be based on <br /> cost. <br /> Peter explained when talking with people in town , they liked the Native <br /> American theme . Hew does this roof style lend itself to that theme? <br /> Ray said they will not have to focus on the administration/media center <br /> 19 <br /> shape'F . The entry area and shape can carry the message. 1t can he done <br /> with accents throughout the building and with color . <br /> Janice does not think a lot of people knew what a long house is . <br /> Joe said the building i s a school , not a long house . Merry sue seconded the motion . All members <br /> were in favor . ** <br /> Joe said he resisted the "boat" form for administration area. He would 1 i I-e <br /> something more reasonable, but allowing the theme to come through . A simple <br /> fora can achieve what you want. <br /> Ray said they wi l 1 take some time to look at i t.
