Paul made a motion the Committee submit Dames and Moore to the Selectmen for approval based on the request for proposals from 3 vendors , Dames and Moore followed all instructions and submitted an acceptable price of $4 , 900 . Merry Sue seconded the motion . All members were in favor. Fee Accounts-- Tan explained a process has to be set up to deal with this job of paying invoices . Peter said the Committee wanted Ian to take care of it. Paul explained during negotiations , the Selectmen did not want to pay Ian to do this , they thought the town could handle it. Dr. DeMoura discussed this with the town accountant. He has a secretary that works part time and he would be willing to extend her hours so that his office would handle all the paperwork . Bob Whritenour and Diane Rommlemeyer are not in a position to do this . The Committee could get these past bills paid and in the future it could be handled through Dr . DeMoura ' s office . Steve said he appreciates Dr . DeMoura's offer but would want this to be done through the town account' s office . His concerns go back to his experience with the Middle School and there were problems with the Superintendent of Schools at the time . * Merry Sue made a motion that the Committee Secretary process for payment 2 invoices for SMMA (April t - May 31 ) and 3 for Chartwell (April 1 - June 30) , Paul seconded the motion . All members were in favor. ** Paul made a motion to approve for payment the SMMA invoice for $102 , 639 . 23 . Merry Sue seconded the motion . All members were in favor. ** ** Merry Sue made a motion to approve for payment Chartwell invoices for $1 , 600 , $15 , 000 and $18 , 000 . Janice seconded the motion . All members were in favor. ** Ian explained Bob Whritenour requires a letter stating the Building Committee has approved the value management workshop. ** Paul made a motion to approve the Value Management Workshop. Merry Sue seconded the motion . All members were in favor. ** Meetings- Bob Fournier met with Fire , Police and Building Departments . He asked the Committee what they want the exit capacity of the gym designed for? Paul suggested they come back next week with reasonable options. He would like to see the impact of all of the required doors . Peter received a comment that there should be doors large enough for a vehicle to get in . Paul explained a vehicle would change a lot of issues with the design . Tom suggested they tie in the design to the ultimate expansion number . Bob said they will begin with that and factor in some additional seating and then show the Committee what that does on the plans .
